A letter from our founder on COVID-19

20th March 2020

A letter from our founder:

At Away From The Ordinary we recognise that this is a stressful and worrying time for a lot of our partners and clients. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us all to rethink how we interact with the world, and we’ve been taking time to focus on how we support our community during this difficult time. We are committed to responding in a manner reflective of the best qualities of the country which we are lucky enough to operate in: With compassion, understanding, and a sense of solidarity.

We believe that knowledge and information are vital during challenging situations like this, and we will work hard to ensure that we are as fully informed as possible, aiming to make the best decisions for our clients, and for the general public. We are making a promise to work with any clients and industry partners to help and support in any way we can.

As social isolation becomes the norm and we are all doing our part to stay home and stay safe, the Away from The Ordinary team has been finding ways to keep occupied and entertained. Over the next few months, we plan on sharing information that we hope will keep you entertained, including Scottish films, books and recipes to try at home. Although only a small gesture, we hope to provide some light relief during these testing times and are really keen to hear what you would like to see more of from us.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our Scottish business partners who are being so open, helpful and communicative at this time.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions and thank you for your ongoing support.

Stay safe,

Aeneas O’Hara
